The activities of Litevista, the association of School of English, DiST Angamaly was inaugurated by eminent bilingual writer, member of Kerala Sahitya Akademi, Ms. Vijayarajamallika at the De Paul College auditorium in the morning on 12th October 2022. The programme was organized by School of English under the guidance of Rev. Dr. John Mangalath VC, Principal, DiST who presided the function and Vice Principals Rev. Fr. Mathew Malieckal VC and Rev. Dr. Robin Chittuparambil VC felicitated the programme. The session by the chief guest Ms. Vijayarajamallika on the topic ‘Gender and Society’ was the main attraction of the programme. The new logo of the department was released by the Principal and Chief guest during the programme. It was conducted successfully by the students and staff under the leadership of Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Sanilkumar P.S. The activities of this academic year was entrusted to the newly elected executive committee and the office bearers including Staff Coordinator Assistant Professor B. Noble. While Ms. Anitta Joy welcomed the gathering, Ms. Aparna Menon proposed the words of gratitude. The formal session was followed by cultural programmes in the afternoon.
