The programmes offered at present include,

9. Diploma in Women Empowerment & Development (DWED)
10. Post Graduate Diploma in Environment & Sustainable Development (PGDESD)

The University offers round the year walk- in admission. Most of the academic programmes being offered in both the cycle of admission i.e., January and July cycles. Admission to the academic programmes are under different modes i.e., through entrance examination, depending on the nature of the programme and without entrance examination. Admission notifications are issued in leading nationals and regional dailies for Walk in Admission during April – May for July session and August – September for January session. The detailed information on admission and application forms are available on the university website at www.ignou.ac.in . The filled- in applications are to be submitted to Regional Center, Cochin.

1. Students have to submit assignments without fail on or before,
    a. March 30 to appear university exam held in the month of June. &
    b. September 30 to appear university exam held in the month of December.
2. Assignment questions shall be downloaded from IGNOU website.
3. Students are expected to collect the assignments after the valuation by the experts from the study centre.
4. Students are requested to discuss about the assignment plan with rough copy during the time of individual conference.
5. An assignment without discussing with the field work supervisor in not entertained to submit.
6. There shall be reference with APA format after each answers.

For MSW students, 5 days orientation visit (Each year) + 45 days concurrent field work

For BSW students, 25 days concurrent field work (Each year)

1. Students should meet Field Work Supervisor in person for the approval of Field Work Letter.
2. Students are mandatorily requested to meet the faculty supervisors (De Paul) minimum 5 times to discuss about the field work progress, field journal report.
3. Students who fail to meet faculty supervisors minimum 5 times (individual conference) shall not entertained to submit the journal.
4. The individual conference shall be held with each faculty supervisor with the prior appointment in 5 fixed following timings: -

I) Visit One: after the completion of 5 orientation visit in different settings. The evaluation of the orientation visit is based on the learning process and successful completion of the given format. Students are expected to submit a request letter to select the field work agency and begin the concurrent field work only after getting the signature in the 5 orientation visits’ report by the concerned field work supervisor(De Paul Campus).
II) Visit Two: after the completion of the 10th day of your concurrent field work, students are expected to meet the concerned faculty supervisor to discuss about the progress of your field work. Please ensure that you get a signature on the 10th day from the concerned faculty supervisor.
III) Visit Three: after the completion of the 20th day of your concurrent field work, students are expected to meet the concerned faculty supervisor to discuss about the progress of your field work. Please get a signature on the 20th day of your concurrent field work.
IV) Visit Four: after the completion of your 30th day please get a signature from the concerned faculty supervisor and discuss the further progress of your concurrent field work.
V) Visit Five: after the completion of 45th day of your concurrent field work, get a signature from the faculty supervisor and fix a day to make the final submission.
You have to submit FWJ on or before 2 months after university exam

5. Students are requested to submit the FWJ on or before 2 months after the university exam.

Students should take Project Proposal Approval from concerned allotted guide.
