Social work department of the De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST) has conducted a conference on 'Digital Life Saving Solutions'. The session was inaugurated by the college principal Rev. Fr John Mangalath V. C. The interactive session was made by the core team including Mr. Jeff Hardy, chief executive officer and founder with life experiences, Ms. Fern Hardy, chief Admin officer and Dr. Chandana Unnithan, Chief scientific officer, an expert digital scientist/member of United Nation and World Health Organisation. They are from Canada having wide experience in maintaining digital health.
The conference was held for undergraduate and postgraduate students of Social Work Department. They are introduced to the mobile application "Lifeguard Digital Health" which aims at research, development, clinical trials and implementation of digital solutions that are aimed at harm reduction for various public health challenges. The conference was concluded with an interactive session with the students.
