Every day starts with something new. The innovations in various fields cannot be included in the curriculum of students. Seminars are capable of keeping the students updated with the technologies and renewing motivation and confidence. The department takes interest in conducting seminars for every batches in both UG and PG, by inviting eminent personalities who have achieved some feat in the relevant field.

Following seminars and webinars were organized in the academic year 2023-24;

• DiST School of Commerce in association with EazyLink, Ernakulam conducted a seminar on Career Guidance on 29th September, 2023 to M Com and B Com final year students. The resource person, Mr. Sony Akkara, International Certified Career Coach (Founder & Director, EazyLink Academy)
• DiST School of Commerce (DSC), organised an external seminar on the topic “Overview of Securities Market and Career Growth” for M.Com 2022 and M.Com 2023 batches on 31st July 2023. This seminar was sponsored by Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and in association with Apex Academy. The session was handled by Mr. Manoj T Neelakantan .
• DiST School of Commerce in association with ISDC conducted a seminar on US CMA & ACCA on 14th August, 2023. The resource person was Mr. Sarath Venugopal, Regional Head of ISDC (International Skill Development Corporation).

• De Paul School of Commerce in association with ACCA, IMA and ISDC conducted a seminar on the topic “Opportunities and Career Prospects of ACCA and CMA US” on 14th October, 2022. The Seminar began by 2.00 pm with the welcome speech proposed by Asso. Professor Dr.Anosh Paul, Head of the Department. The resource person was Mr. Venugopal V Menon, Director – Kerala Growth Projects International Skill Development Corporation.
• De Paul School of Commerce in association with The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), conducted a seminar on the topic “Investor Resilience-A Smart Investor Conducts research before investing and diversifies his portfolio” on 13th October, 2022. The Seminar began by 10.30 am with the welcome speech delivered by Asso. Prof. Dr.Anosh Paul, Head of the Department. The resource person was Mr. N P Rajive (CDSL IPF).
• De Paul School of Commerce in association with The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), conducted a seminar on the topic “Professionalism in Logistics” on 30th September, 2022. The Seminar began by 10.00 am with the welcome speech delivered by Asso. Professor Dr.Anosh Paul, Head of the Department. The resource person was Mr. Arun Gopal E G (Logistics Professional).

• De Paul School of Commerce in association with ISDC and Ulster University UK, conducted an International Webinar on the topic “Empowering EdUKation Beyond Boarders” on 18th February, 2022. The resource persons were Mr. Noel Selvin, Regional Head Ulster University and Ms. Kirsty Winter, Global Recruitment and Engagement Officer.
• De Paul School of Commerce in association with Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), conducted a seminar on the topic “Investor awareness and the role of regulators / Investment and capital market / Financial Literacy” on 17th February, 2022. The resource person was Mr. NP Rajive CS, Management consultant (Enterprise Strategy & Training).
• Webinar on the topic “Gateway to Financial Freedom” on 23rd September, 2021. The resource person was Mr. Rajanikanth CS, Corporate Trainer, Hedge School of Applied Economics.
