FDP’s aims to improve the performance of faculty members in education, research, and administration as well as augment organisational capacities and culture.

De Paul School of Commerce (DSC) in association with IQAC, DiST conducted a National Level Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Understanding the Philosophy of Investment” from 31st October to 4th November 2022. The event had five resource persons (one for each day). They were eminent personalities in the field of investment and finance. CMA CS Madhusudhanan E. P. (CDSL IPF Resource Person), Mr. Anandhu K Shaji (Deputy Manager, National Stock Exchange India Ltd.), Mr. Nikhil Gopalakrishnan (CEO - Pentad Securities), Mr. Biju Gopinathan (State Head, Kerala, MCX) and Mr. Padmanabhan T. V. (Senior Manager, Equity Research, Capstocks & Securities India Pvt. Ltd.) handled the sessions from Day 1 to Day 5 respectively.

To enrich the knowledge of faculties, in 2017-18 the department organised a one-day Faculty Development Programme on ‘Growing Importance of Tax Education’ by resource persons Mr. Aravindakshan K (Retd.LDM – Union Bank ) and Mr. CA Rajeev Ramnath H (Chartered Accountant).
