Only theoretical knowledge is not sufficient to build competitive managers. The department organises study tours every year for the final year students of both UG and PG programmes to aid them in exploring new things in an interesting way through visual experience. The department usually takes study tour destinations like Bangalore, Mysore, Chikmagalur, Hyderabad, Wayanad, Coorg, etc. on rotation. The Department also offers industrial visits every year for both UG and PG students, helping them to interact with professional experts and acquire practical knowledge in their respective areas. Recently conducted industrial visits include Eastern Condiments Pvt. Ltd., Adimaly, Kannan Devan Tea Factory, Munnar, etc.
