With the dynamic changes taking place in the software industry the need for mathematically trained software professionals are growing day by day. To cope with this demand, the Department of Computer Science has introduced a new PG programme namely 5-year Integrated MCA (combined BCA and MCA). Integrated MCA Programme provides students with the facility to secure an MCA in 5 years after their Plus Two.

Integrated MCA is a professional program recognized by AICTE. It is a full time 5 year programme with 10 semesters. The programme has 43 theory papers and 15 lab papers, along with 2 projects (mini project & main project), a programme viva and 1 seminar presentation. Student’s performance during each span is assessed by conducting internals & model examinations. A semester viva is being conducted at the end of each semester to improve their academic excellence. During the programme of study, the respective faculty take individual attention to encourage the students to prepare assignments, conduct seminars and publish journals.

A candidate seeking admission to Integrated MCA programme must have a pass with not less than 45% marks in 10+2 level with Physics and Mathematics in X standard along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject/Accountancy any stream in XII standard.
