The School of Media & Communication, Multimedia Department visited Photo Fest 2023 held at Adlux International Convention Centre, Karukutty on 16th June 2023. 46 Students which includes MA MM 2022, BA MM 2022, and BA MM 2021 batches from the department and 4 faculties accompanied them to the viist. Photo fest, organized by all Kerala Photographers Association, is important for the media aspirants. The fest brought great opportunity for the students to understand various camera gadgets and equipment.

Sooraj, Naif Nazar, Aadithya Krishna A.N, Nikil, Prem Abhinand Baliyil, Alan Shaju, Shivakiran Swapnesh, Alfin Antovisited Toonz Animation academy Trivandrum for a One-Day workshop in Animation and Vfx Foundation conducted by Toonz Animation, Trivandrum on 29th November 2023.

The School of Media & Communication, Multimedia Department conducted ‘Fashion Photography’ workshop on 19th JUNE 2023. 28 Students of BA MM 2022 participated in this workshop. Session was handled by Mr Biju Rehman. It was an industry training with 2 professional lights and its techniques. Student got a rare opportunity to interact with the professionals and hands-on training too.

The School of Media & Communication (Multimedia), in association with DiST Placements & Corporate Relations (DPCR), organized and conducted a one-week industrial training program from November 13th November 2023 to 20th November 2023 by Neo Film School, Kochi, for BA Multimedia 21. The sessions included script writing, elements of direction, editing techniques, color grading, etc. The practical session ought to help students think critically about aspects of filmmaking. The discussions and interaction were really helpful for the participants to learn more about the creation of a movie.
