Parent Teacher Association is a formal organisation of parents and teachers that is formed to get parents involved in their children’s academics as well as to help and to reform the college system. The main focus of the PTA is to work for the prosperity of the students of the college. The PTA provide parents and teachers a mutual platform to work for the betterment of the college teaching and everything that influences the physical and intellectual growth of a child. The PTA meeting helps both parents and teachers to involve discussion and solve any particular issue they are facing.

The BCA department regularly organises PTA meetings and open houses to promote a sense of partnership between parents and teachers for the benefit of students. Students’ academic performance is assessed based on 2 internal examinations and the PTA meeting and open house were conducted after this internal exam for all the batches for the upliftment of the students' education as well as to create a greater bond between the parents and the teachers. We inform the parents about the meeting through SMS and Whatsapp groups. In PTA meeting, we give information about curricular and non-curricular activities held in our department like overall performance of the class, exam patterns, assignment patterns, placement details etc. In the open house meeting, one to one interaction took place between parents and class coordinators as well as subject teachers. Most of the parents are asked about their ward’s study progression and how they can improve more for upcoming exams. They are asked to advise their ward to work harder for next exam and college will also help them in preparing for better future by giving regular assignments, solving doubts, SLSS (Student Learning Support System) program.

The PTA meeting of BCA 2nd year was conducted on 11/8/2023 and BCA final year was on 19/9/2023. The first year students PTA meeting was on 13/10/23
