The faculty members of the department conduct special remedial coaching for the weaker students. It aims at improving the academic skills and linguistic proficiency of the students in various subjects, raising their level of comprehension in subjects where qualitative technical and laboratory work is involved, and reducing their failure and dropout rates. The main objectives of remedial coaching are to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in such subjects where quantitative and qualitative techniques are involved, so that the necessary guidance and training provided may enable the students to pursue higher studies efficiently. It prepares slower students for competitive exams.
