As per the culture of De Paul Institute of Science & Technology, every academic year, Departments organize technical fest for higher secondary students. These fests are organized every year with the objective of providing a platform for the students to showcase their talent with a competitive spirit.

Luminous

Luminous, is the talent fest of school of computer science (UG) organized by BCA association – Techno Riderz. The fest aimed in bringing out the talents of higher secondary students from various reputed institutions all over Kerala and boosting their confidence.

Luminous ’17

The fest was organized on 11th January 2017 had a grand touch, as Mr. Sreejith IPS, IG Cochin Range was present as the chief guest of the event. The one-day fest was attended by more than 130 students from about 10 higher secondary schools from Kerala who participated in 9 events organized by the event coordinators. The highlights were the individual events like the “Best Student”, “Hungama”, “Power Point Presentation”, “Web Designing” and “Gaming”, and group events like Treasure hunt and Quiz. There was also an interesting “Selfie Contest” for the participants. The chief guest of the valedictory function Mr. Siju Wilson, Cine artist addressed the gathering and he shared his memories when he was at his college times. Viswajyothi CMI public school bagged overall championship.

Luminous ’16

Luminous’16 was conducted on 5th January 2016, our chief guest of the day was Dr. Christy Fernandez I.A.S, Chief Secretary to the former President of India and other members on the dais were the college principal Rev. Dr. James Chelapurath V.C, Vice principal Rev.Fr.Samir Macwan V.C, SCS(UG) department HOD Ms.Ambily Pramitha P, Staff coordinator of Luminous Mr. Ajesh T.A and student coordinator of Luminous Mr.Bibin Benny. Total of 140 students from 13 institutions registered at various events. MGM Govt. HSS Nayathode bagged overall championship.
