Social Work
The Institution organises various faculty development programmes every year with a mind to upgrade and update the knowledge and skills of its members.
The school of social work organised an FDP on 25th November 2022, 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, for discussion in which subject matter specialists with practical experience in social science research shared knowledge with the target audience about the importance of research skills and current prospects in that field. The FDP aims to show faculty members how to conduct independent research, write successful research projects, and ultimately prepare them for technical communication with a focus on national/international journals/conferences.
It also gives participants the chance to learn about current developments that are occurring in various facets of social work. Lectures on the fundamentals of choosing an appropriate research question, conducting a literature review, structuring the study, developing a poject proposal.
The programme helped the participants to design and conduct research projects, research papers and Ph. D. Participants from social work and other social science departments were attended the FDP as pert the above Schedule of the FDP was so designed to cover all relevant aspects about research methodology.
