Working with the PTA makes for greater communication between home and school, enables parents to have a voice, and also allows to provide students with opportunities they may not have had access to before.

The department takes initiative to meet parents at least once in a semester. Two parents are selected as the representatives and they are involved in organizing the general PTA meeting every semester. The meetings are an open forum for a face to face interaction between the parents and the students. The suggestions from the PTA are always welcomed.

It is the powerful voice for the well-being of all the students of school of social work. It gives parents a platform to make a difference in their child's academic life by raising issues that affect the children and matter the most for better future. It facilitates a working relationship between college management, administrators, teachers and parents.
