"Capture Create Share"
De Paul Institute of Science & Technology, Angamaly (DiST), approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to M.G. University, Kottayam has made its mark on the educational landscape of higher education in Kerala since its inception in the year 2002. Over the two decades of its existence, DiST has embraced a system that caters to the holistic development of its student community. It has nurtured and promoted the academic as well as non-academic domains through different platforms. DiST clubs are one such venture, and the photography club was formed to help the budding photographers grow to their potential.
The Club seeks to support, encourage and inspire individuals to use photography as a medium to creatively express themselves through the lens of a camera.
To provide a supportive environment for students interested in photography to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for photography.
We are a group of people who love photography. From amateur to professional, from mobile to DSLR, and beyond. Our goal is to inspire, educate, challenge, and celebrate member photographers of all skill levels. Through meetings, workshops, competitions, and exhibitions, we encourage the photographic pursuits of our members. We come together to learn from each other, share our knowledge and images, and have fun.

College day was celebrated in the college on 08/02/2019. Photography club members were assigned to cover the program. Students have efficiently participated in the program to cover the photos and videos of mentioned program.
A job fair conducted at DIST on 7/12/2019. The photography club members were assign to cover the photography and videography of the events. The members efficiently participated the even for the same.
DiST photography club “FOS” organised an online competition on ONAM as “CAPTURE ONAM”. Submission was online and cash prize was there. More than 50 students actively Participated in this event.
Members of DiST photography club “FOS” actively participated in coverage of sports day Event happened on 4/2/2020. Different categories of sports events and more than 150 Students participated.
DIGNITO was celebrated in the college on 16/01/2020. Photography club members were assigned to over the program. Students have efficiently participated in the program to cover the photos and videos of mentioned program.
