De Paul Institute of Science & Technology, Angamaly (DiST), approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to M G University, Kottayam has made its mark in the educational landscape of higher education in Kerala since its inception in the year 2002. Over these two decades of its existence, DiST has embraced a system that caters to the holistic development of its student community. The dance club is open to one and all, irrespective of whether you know how to dance or not. The dance club believes that anybody can dance, and all you need is the heart to dance. Many dance events, workshops, etc., are organized by the dance club throughout the entire year. The club focuses on expressing emotions and feelings through various dance forms.

To build a student fraternity to promote the art of dance as a vehicle for developing community, respect, openness, depth and passion.

The club will help students to express themselves through the art of dance and will keep alive the sprint of the campus through various dance forms.

1. To Provide training facilities to students to develop dance skills.
2. To organize and motivate students to participate in Institutional, University, State and National level dance competitions.
3. To strengthen the student’s creative skills through live performance.

DiST dance club “RHYTHM” is designed to provide a healthy and safe environment for students to socialize and enjoy being together. The following procedures have been established to allow the continuation of dances and to ensure the enjoyment and safety of all students at the dance club:

1. Students will express their selves through the art of dance.
2. The club will create school spirit on campus.
3. Students will use the art of dance as a way to promote community, respect, openness, depth, and passion.
4. The club encourages openness and awareness of different cultures.
5. All Student Responsibility Policies and School Discipline Policies related to tobacco, drugs, alcohol, respect for all irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender, etc. will be strictly enforced in all dance practices and performances.
