"Reader's Enjoy, Author's Dream"
De Paul Institute of Science & Technology, Angamaly (DiST), approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to M G University, Kottayam has made its mark in the educational landscape of higher education in Kerala since its inception in the year 2002. Over these two decades of its existence, DIST has embraced a system which caters to the holistic development of its student community. Clubs and Associations are platforms where the students explore their careers, practice their craft, have fun and socialize at the same time. Literary club (R.E.A.D) is organized with the 9ntention of developing the flair for reading and writing among the students of DiST.
The vision of Literary Club 'R.E.A.D' is to develop among students profiency for the language and enhance their literary skills.
Fostering the creativity of students for a fondness for language and moulding pupils to augument their critical thinking, reading, and writing skills.
The programmes that are organized by READ are initiated by the student members themselves under the guidance of the staff in charge. The members meet once in a month and the programmes for the next month are planned and an evaluation of the execution of the programmes planned for the month is made. Member students should abide by the rules and regulations of the club and that of DiST so as to achieve their goals of joining the club.

Talking Titans, a speech competition was conducted on September 19 2023.
A skit which was the adaptation of the Shakespearean play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ was conducted on 01 November 2023.
